D-Day Anniversary

On June 6, 1944, a date known ever since as D-Day, a mighty armada crossed a narrow strip of sea from England to Normandy, France, and cracked the Nazi grip on western Europe. (from the Encyclopedia Britannica)

A quote for the 62nd anniversary of D-Day:
"None can love freedom heartily but good men; the rest love not freedom, but license." -Milton
